Projector Installation
AV-Setup offers a wide range of professional services for your new or used overhead projector. We can install or service your projector equipment at a single job site or serve as your one point of contact to coordinate multiple jobs at many locations.
To give you an overview of a Typical Projector Install we will say that first a site survey is in order. After you have a phone discussion with an AV-Setup representative to go over the details of the project, you schedule an appointment for an installation. We will need to be aware if the space is an anything different than a standard drywall or drop-ceiling commercial environment.
The second step is we send our projector installation NY technicians to your home or place of business to do the service. They will arrive at the scheduled time and do the survey of the space, again confirming with you what was initially requested over the phone. Also, they will determine optimal distance from the projector to the projection surface and note the exact location of where the installation should take place. They will then unpack the projector which you will have already bought for them to install.
The installers will have a speaker wire with them which is included in the
projector installation price, which is $199. Then they will install the mount, which you also provide, which will hold the projector in place. Usually there are wall-mounts, ceiling-mounts or custom solutions with either a fixed or suspended structure, so you choose whichever one best fits your needs and the location of the projector installation. The technicians will then affix the projector securely onto the mounting hardware.
AV-Setup capable installers will then run the VGA or projector cables from the projector to a wall drop box for easy access. Cable will be routed either through the ceiling or arranged in another way which is agreeable to the space surrounding the projector mount. After that is taken care of, the technicians will connect the signal source, such as a computer, and verify proper installation.
At the conclusion of your install, our technicians will clean up the work area and dispose of any installation debris which was created during the work process. As a final step you will be asked to provide payment for the installation either by writing a check or asked to be billed.
AV-Setup carries a wide range of supplies which we can provide upon request, such as mounts, brackets and projectors themselves at a reasonable cost. We have a great relationship with many respected brand name manufacturers and can offer better prices than the rest.
Please note that the Projector Installation NY service does not include installing and concealing of any audio, video cables. Speaker installation, Audio Video receiver connections or any electrical outlet installation. The installation process will take approximately 4 to 6 hours, so please be prepared for this time window.
